Good points made on the average scores. It was a lopsided championship with a group of 5 and 4, and then some teams going straight to a SF and some to a QF. So going off that;

Cian Johnson averaged 7pts/g (3-40 in 7 games)
Harry Plunkett averaged 7.8pts/g (1-36 in 5 games)
Cian Farrell averaged 7.4pts/g (0-37 in 5 games)
Niall McNamee averaged 5pts/g (2-24 in 5 games)
Nigel Dunne averaged 6.5pts/g (0-26 in 4 games)

Have you got the list of top scorers from play?

To be fair to Chddar - and he can speak for himself- stripping out scores from placed balls to identify scores from play is a hoor this year with the two points from play and two point frees. Which is why there wasn't a list of top scorers from play in the County final programme. It wrecked my head.

Yeah unfortunately I didnt do from play this year. I’ll aim to do it next year. Just was a genuinely time consuming process so that’s all I have for now.

Of the 12 lads named by POTH, for 1 reason or another Cormac Egan is the only one guaranabteed to be on the panel. And maybe Johnson.

Thanks for that POTH. Didn't realise Kellaghan had scored 6 goals, thought it was a mistake for a second.

Those two will be in alright but it shows a serious lack of forward depth in the county that lads that have retired are still getting into the top 10 on the scoring charts.

Great result for Clara today against the Dublin champions. Didn’t see any of it, anyone at it or see it on clubber ?

Was in there for a look all right. Good result and a decent performance, the game was won with a great surge of scores after half-time and almost lost when Conor Egan got a black card and Lusk kicked 0-5 in a row. Sallins seem to be utterly phenomenal at this grade so you'd imagine that a huge improvement would be needed to even stay competitive next time, but there was a lot to like all the same.

In terms of key players, Cormac Delaney continued his decent form, Christian McKeon did well up against the main marksman for the Dublin side, and Marcas Dalton took on a lot of work and played more than his part. Best Clara man on the field for me though was Conor Doyle - another lad that would be well worth his place on either the county hurling or the county football panel, whichever he chooses. Moves well, sharp in the tackle, and kicked a seriously high pressure score when it was needed at the end. Very impressive.

I’d give Tullamore a serious chance today.
2/1 looks a very big price or is this accurate?

Luke Loughlin the big danger for The Downs, I see on social media that he did a Hyrox competition in the last few days, some going

Downs are favourites and supposed to be good. Though they're missing Westmeath players Joe Moran and Niall Mitchell.
Not sure where Tullamores scores will come from. Forward line lacking scorers.

7 scorers in the first half alone . We know how to find the scores . We made life very difficult in the last 5 mins . But for 50 mins we were by far the better team.
The team has things to work on but a great win to be fair to the lads

Brilliant win for Tullamore, they were much the better side, and if won by 8,9 or 10 ppints one wouldnt be able to fault them for it, tough ask in the semi again Ballybodan, but I think the blues can take them in OCP, really looking forward now to that game.
