McCormack Cup playoff

Post by Lone Shark »

Myself and Rynagh's Biffo going toe to toe, to take the last of the silverware for the year .......

....and by God have we a wonderfully random list of fixtures to finish up. I haven't a clue on most of these, but sure all the more chance of a decisive result I suppose! Double points for the intermediate final I suppose, since it is the most important of the lot.

IFC Final Tubber (F) vs Raheen (U)
F. League Final Tullamore vs St. Brigid's
U21 Hurling Coolderry vs St. Mary's
U21 Hurling St. Brendan's (F) vs St. Cronin's (U)
Relegation P/O Shamrocks vs Killavilla
Relegation P/O Ballyskenach vs Clara

(Not sure if that last one is going ahead, but sure I'll throw it in in case)

I know St. Mary's is Shinrone and Ballyskenach, while St. Cronin's is, if I'm not mistaken, Belmont and Lusmagh, and they might have any eligible Shannon Gaels lads in there as well.

** edit - feck it, I'm going to go for the upset after all - I've done it in all the county finals so far, I have to be right on one ....

Not being the copycat here, but I'm agreeing with your predictions, all but the Brendans and Cronins one!!

Good Luck LS!!

I had a suspicion you'd do that all right ......

Best of luck with it - my gut feeling is that you'll be winning it, though I may change my intermediate final pick before Sunday. I don't know why, just something telling me Raheen might surprise people.....

...probably won't though.

*extends hand for shaking.....*

Congratulations lad. I had two chances, but neither Raheen nor Cronin's did it - 0-20 to 1-10 to Birr I believe.

Could be time for a change of management - three second place finishes in two years, and still no trophies for Lone Shark...... :(

Thanks a million LS, unlucky again!

So thats another title going to Rynaghs, who would of thought it!! But the question is, can I keep it up and go onto a historic three in a row!! I'll save ye with the speech, because you all heard it before!!!!!!!!

Time to get into training for next year, have to push on for the league title next.
