The size of the gap gap was largely down to ManFromFerbane having to do some chasing this week with some specualtive picks, but the heroic effort of Joe Brady in the drawn final made all the difference.

The McCormack Cup remains up in the air, now tied at 10-10 after two legs. Rynagh's Biffo, looking to retain his crown, went for the favourites across the card in the match results and got three out of three, but only called one of the extra specials, while yours truly made some awful match picking, but the trio of Ryan, Carroll and McNamee made up the points to bring it to a replay this week. Having been runner up in the last two league titles, the pressure will be on Uibhfhaili.com's waffler-in-chief in order to avoid a reputation as a perennial choker at the business end of matters in these competitions...
