What in de name of Jaysus are they doing putting fixtures on Sunday for. Most of the country will be watching the Ryder Cup!!

I see we are down for a game, but haven't had a fixture for 2 months, some chance of us getting a team together for that!

I thought the GAA had cancelled all fixtures for next Sunday to give the Ryder Cup full attention of the country?

I accept that there will be some crossover in interests, but if you start calling off games at peak times like this week to facilitate golf watchers you'll never get anything played. What about the same time as when Man U play Liverpool, or there's an Old Firm derby?

I understand that going head to head with a World Cup Finals match or a Heineken Cup semi like last year's is a bit foolhardy, but otherwise let other sports worry about their own.
