...who roared their approval when Thomas Deehan kicked a "point" that was a few inches wide.
This prompted the unsure umpire to reach for his flag and wave a point.

We can congratulate ourselves on being the 16th man!

Fans on the hill were excellent. I counted at least 3 different pockets of resistance and all making serious noise. Although outnumbered heavily by the Wexicans, we were still the louder fans, even when they had something to shout about.
