Good to see Brian Connor back in there if committed, would be worried he might still head off for the Summer. Good to keep him involved anyway, he needs to be encouraged as has the physical presence that we really need at the moment and can take a score, when the chance arises.

Mrknowitall, Maloney played well at 3 and you want to put him out to 6? Put him in at 3, get rid of Sullivan (Shane), not good enough.Maloney has the potential to be a quality full back or centre back, (i think we really need to concentrate on the full back position as we have not had one since Liam Connor!! Ross Brady not up to it either. Not sure about 6, but Nigel Dunne and Keenaghan could add to the forwards for the next day. Dalton might do as a stop gap in the short term at 6, will he be back at the weekend?
Give Muller another go,we need him until Nialler gets back, but in fairness he will be back in the goals for the championship.
Pity Lonergan is not there he could possibly do a job at 6.

What about Larry Carroll?

Larry Carroll is a good bloke but the only thing he had in common with Liam Connor was his initials!

the reason id play maloney at 6 is due to the fact he had a solid outing against roscommon and i feel he is a good ball player as well. i agree with you in the sense we have struggled at full back and indeed centre back over the last few years. antrim is now a must win game and i suppose sullivan offers expierince but i agree he isnt ideal either.
