was wondering did anyone hear eugene o briens tribute to the 82 team on john murray show this morning on rte radio 1.it was great stuff ,great passion and heart in it, aswell as humour.a funny line in it was when he recalls that no one in edenderry went to school on the monday only the kildare boys .was great to hear such great stuff about how great offaly is and its people,makes one proud to be from the faithful.

Yes I heard it, it was stirring stuff. It really captured the emotion surrounding that unforgettable day. Will we ever see the like of it again?
