To whom it may concern,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Christian Coombs, I am a Chartered Physiotherapist working privately at Edgewater Medical Centre, Tullamore.

I have previously studied in Wales attaining a BSc (Hons) in Health and Exercise Science, BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at Cardiff Medical School.

My experience in a clinical and sport setting has enabled me to become accomplished with musculoskeletal problems, spinal pain, sports injuries, post operative care. I have a particular interest in clinical pilates, lower limb biomechanics, nerve tissue mobilisation and strength and conditioning.

My philosophy is a “hands on” approach with a keen emphasis on mobilisation, massage and therapeutic exercise. If any teams require physiotherapy, or would

like to meet with me regarding the treatment options available at the clinic please do not hesistate to contact me.

Yours sincerely

Christian Coombs (BSc. Hons, MISCP, HPC)

gataliex wrote:Is physiotherapy absolutly necessary for a shoulder dislocation? I had a major shoulder dislocation, and the surgeon and doctor have said that I would need physiotherapy for at least 12 sessions. My arm is locked in one place and does not move. I have no insurance or money for physio, so is it really necessary? What happens if i don't? Can i get it later on?
I'm no expert, but it sounds like you want to get something sorted with it!

Turk is right. Get it fixed up right away. Waiting will not help and will probably make it worse.

Had a bad one of those years ago. If therapy was recommended defs go for it.
