KILDARE V OFFALY IN NEWBRIDGE.

Post by black and red exile »

A good workout for the lads tonight. Final score Kildare 0.14 Offaly 0.12. Played in 4 parts, 2 20 mins plus 2 15 mins sections it was a competitive enough encounter, the lads showed good appetite which was refreshing to see 9 days before the Clare game. Most of the panel got a run out during the course of the game including Alan McNamee who is back on the panel, Ger Rafferty was also there but didn't get on, Niall Smith was back training on Tuesday night but wasn't there tonight but again it was good to hear he is back in the fold again, the team that started.

Guillfoyle got on the scoresheet aswell , was the best point of the game to.
I used to think it was great being a wee nippy corner forward, but it's better now being a big, fat one.

Offaly are playing Louth on Sunday in Drogheda in another challenge, as far as I know it's a morning throw in.
