as i was in dunnes stores today i noticed on the shelf kinnittys ham. just out of curiosity is this ham supplied by kinnity gaa or has it nothing todo with the club. it dawned on me at the time that it could be the gaa club as kinnity are gone @@@@ing useless at hurling and maybe i just thought the have turned some players into butchers?? that said some players didnt need much training to be a butcher just look at james rigney for example!

Probably the worst WUM ever on this forum. Your punctuation and grammar are terrible by the way. Time to brush up before the Junior Cert starts I think, because regardless of your age thats the level of you're intelligence. And you would be attempting Ordinary Level across the board.

This is suppose to be a GAA board with the few exceptions here and there but why in the name of God would you post a topic about ham?
And why would a GAA club supply ham?

Don't mind this muppet he is from laois or kilkenny with that name just a WUM Thats all, he couldn't be from clareen and talk so much rubbish
as for running down kinnitty and saying they are useless at hurling with his club losing to Brosna gaels last weekend, as i said before don't think he is from clareen.

I see everyone here is skirting around the really important topic, which is the ham itself. Now I was initially delighted when I saw it on the shelves since generally I try to support Carroll Cuisine where I have the choice to do so (it's only fair after all!) but I have to say I was hugely underwhelmed when I sampled it. It retailed a lot cheaper than the standard Carrolls ham and in this case, I really got the impression that you got what you pay for.

Of course these things are all a matter of taste and I'd hate to suggest that only my palate matters in these instances, but I can't see Kinnitty ham being the best marketing tool for what is probably one of the most visited areas of Offaly from a tourist point of view. I certainly wouldn't be happy if this was being marketed as Ferbane Ham - we could do a lot better.

yes lone shark agreed. however i did sample kinnity ham and found it scrumptious... however i must add before i leave the forum for my nightly carrolls ham sandwhich that you have to try mallons sausages for some reason these can only be bought in tesco but its worth the trip out there for just the taste alone... value on the other ham (see what i did there i put in ham instead of hand with all this talking im hungry) is another matter... and just to add in abit about the gaa before i am slated as a WUM by
