Tipsters Competition Round 9 Results

Ahoy folks,

Just got around to collating all the scores there after a dramatic week of tipsters. The double points for knockout games has already started to have a serious effect with four tipsters - Muck Savage, DD, Doon Massive and Phoenix getting ten points for the Ferbane vs Erin Rovers draw. DD leapfrogs straight to joint top of the league table with this result, while Muck Savage cruises into joint fourth and naiiled down a Daithi Regan Cup semi final spot into the bargain.

The playoff between the three tipsters vying for the last two Regan Cup slots was a tight one as well. By virtue of getting Rynaghs over Raheen, Biffo Army got the seventh seed spot, but with the Rat and Johnno 81 each on four points, it was down to the tie breaker - the Rat having picked 31 and Johnno81 on 52. One less score for Shamrocks and the Rat would have gone through, but the 42nd score of the weekend was enough to give Johnno81 the final quarter final place. The other results were:

No bother. I do enjoy having it myself, would have been cheering on Rynaghs in yesterday's intermediate semi anyway but it was nice to have a Regan Cup win on the back of it too!
