Just heard a rumour that 3 footballers were dropped off the panel Monday night. 3 high profile names. If its true we are fe****D

There have been rumours all right, but this is what you put a panel in place for. I've no idea if there is any truth to this, but if Tom Cribben is taking this action, then the players have obviously done something to warrant it, and whoever comes in in their stead will be better prepared.

I'd prefer to see a group of players taking this seriously given their chance rather than include lads for whom the qualifiers don't matter and they're just marking time until we get eliminated.

I could name the 3 i heard and 1 of them is for definate dropped. I dont want to name them until it's verified but its shocking. The players must have no pride anymore.

Can you just name the clubs the 3 players are from???

hang on a min there lads..... these lads play an amature sport and had a few drinks on the sunday nite. no big deal. matt mitchel had a stormer in training the tue after he was drinking on the monday. he got dropped AFTER the game v kildare. i know who the 3 players.. they shouldnt be dropped. get over it.

In fairness, since the facts aren't in the public domain, nobody is saying whether the decision, if it has occurred along the lines we think, is the right or wrong one. Only the players involved and the management know why they have arrived at the decision that they did, so it's too early to say whether or not it was in fact a "big deal".

3 lads were dropped because they were CAUGHT drinking. there was in fact nearly half the panel drinking. it will turn out that no one will officially be dropped.

if ur dropped , ur dropped whether its official or not, i would'nt mind knowing who they were so i can make up my mind if its worth goin 2 wexford park or not
