Lads i think its seriously time for Offaly to get a new jersey, shorts and socks.. the whole kit is a joke.. i think we're the laughing stock of the country at the moment.. i cant understand how the players put up with it. The same jersey for 7 years?? The likes of Laois, Kilkenny and Tipp have had 3 or 4 nice jerseys in that space of time.. Its an embarrasment lookin at the likes of Slatts and J. Keane an Deehan playin in jerseys that are way too big for them.. Sort it out county board.

There was a forum on this recently "called Offaly Jersey". Sorry I do not know how to link the topic.
In the end the county Board did not wabnt to change it

waste of money and penalising supporters to change the kit imho. offaly is probably the only team with three main colours. look at the mess they made of the last jersey change.

The proposed change this year, IMHO, resembled a Limerick jersey with a splash of gold. Maybe we do need a change, but I think rejecting what was on offer was the correct decision.

As mentioned check out the Michael Davitts GAC jersey.
There's a daycent amount of Green on sleeves and shawlders.
All this new jersey lark is farcical, cos its the manufacturer who designs them and unfortunately we've little or no say in the matter.
But,I am of the opinion that a less stylistic and more old-skool jersey would be k-wality.
Allez.

NEW JERSEY!
Finally a topic 'close to home'.
New Jersey is a great place...
BUT seriously, let's keep our attention on the more pressing matter at hand - that being getting the better of Westmeath on Saturday.
UP THE FAITHFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Davitt's version of
OUR jersey:

Then there's the one used by some of the teams in Carrickmore, Co.Tyrone:

From Cork, there's a variation used by Carbery Rangers, interesting!!! :

I like the Davitts one, but in general, because I don't want to lose the 'tricolour' effect on our jersey's I'd be very slow in changing it. I don't think we are 'the laughing stock' of other counties at all.
I like the current Offaly jersey, and I like the white version as well. Leave them alone
New jerseys are a gimmick, it's what's inside the jersey that matters.

I have to say I think I like the ladies jersey at the moment (thats if it is the one modelled by Marion Crean camogie captain at the launch of Camogie All-Ireland). Anyone got a link to the jersey?

At this stage I'd nearly stick to what we have.
God knows what sort of design would be foisted on us!
