Is the Kildare game a quarter final? Who have we after that (presuming we win of course)? I see Westmeath are playing Wicklow AGAIN in the Sheild Final. Hope Wicklow put up a better show this time.

It's the round before the quarter final - Offaly play Kildare, with the winners to play Wexford (who are really good at this grade and would have beaten Kilkenny if there was any justice). In the other first round tie Meath play Laois with the winners to play Carlow (assuming the Dubs get the walkover).

Then in the semi it's

Dub vs WX/OY/KE and KK vs CW/LS/MH

when & where is the offaly wexford match on ?

it was something like 2-30 to 1-5 to Clare

I was at the match in Naas and I have to say that this Offaly minor team is very very poor, lifting of the ball was brutal, seemed to get blocked and hooked very easily. The Kildare goalie gave away 3 soft goals in the first half which was the end for Kildare. Offaly looked unfit, unsure, missing leaders. wexford will beat them by a point a man at least.

A good Wexford team, our lads misfiring and now it seems that Eanna Murphy is out for this match.

The signs aren't good - that has the makings of a hammering unfortunately.

will be a hard game now especially if Murphy is out but hopefully the lads will do Offaly proud

yeah will be very tough, with 3 lads definitely ( murphy, connolly and conneley) and mabe sean coughlan as well...to lose the spine of the team, full back, centre back and full forward plus the corner forward makes this task next to impossible...best of luck though lads, derserve a good support for all their effort up to this point

Predictions of doom were correct, but I suppose Wexford have been getting their house in order for the last while, so it wasn't a big surprise.
Wexford hit several wides too, by all accounts, so it could have been worse...

heard the Minors were poor alright but all hope isnt lost we have a good team next year and year after i think Noel Russell should be giving the job along with Johnny and Roy
