UP Coming Fixtures?

Does anybody know when the first round of the leagues is going to be played. I checked on the offaly.gaa.ie website and there are no fixtures up but I think i saw the fixtures for the football league in the local paper?

The league games are postponed when the refs are on strike. There was supposed to be a round of league games last weekend but they were all cancelled.

There's a new fixtures secretary this year as far as I know, so early season could be a little patchy anyways.

Presume st. cronins is Lusmagh / Ferbane/ Belmont and guessing St Malachys is combination of Tullamore and Ballinamere??

P.s. whose actually responsible for putting the fixtures on the website - is it the assistant secretary?? and who is the assistant sec this year. I know that there have been a few changes in officals at county board.

In my new capacity as local hack I get sent this stuff now. Which is all good - I'll do my best to pop them up fairly promptly. I did copy and paste though, hence the incorrectly spelt "Cronin/Cronan".

As for the mixum gatherum of teams, I'm actually trying to put a full list together for the paper - here's what I know already, do try and fill in the gaps for me if anyone can!!

St. Cronin's Ferbane/Belmont/Lusmagh
Na Fianna Killeigh/Raheen/Killurin
St. Malachy's Ballinamere/Durrow/Clara/Brosna Gaels
St. Mary's Shinrone/Ballyskenach

Along with Shamrocks, Rynaghs, Seir Kieran, Tullamore, Kinnitty, Coolderry, Kilcormac/Killoughey, who I assume are all the same as usual.

Also, what about special permission players - any interesting ones out there? I'm thinking of the Treacys of Capincur first and foremost.

LS, as far as I know, I would imagine Killivilla are hurling with Coolderry, as Ray Mac Cabe hurled with them last year, they previously hurled with Drumcullen as Drumcullen óG, Drumcullen have 8 o ten lads eligible to hurl with Kilcormac/Killoughey and are being called KK/Gaels. I am unsure of Edenderry and Gracefield but hope to find out if that is any help
