Best wishes to St Mary's Secondary School in Edenderry tomorrow when they play St Eunan's of Letterkenny in Breffni Park, Cavn,at 2pm in the Colleges 'B' All Ireland. It will be a tough game but hopefully they will come out on the right side.

Best of luck to them certainly. I don't know much about Eunan's, Donegal schools tend not to have featured too much at the business end of competitions up there, but even so any team that gets this far has obviously got a lot going for them.

I'm guessing that from our minor panel last week that Brady, Pender, Ger Dunne, Mak Young and maybe the two Rhode lads are on this team, but how about from the Kildare side? Are any of those lads going to school across the border?

Ger Dunne is an Oaklands student but St.Mary's have former Offaly minor goalie Brian Quinlan at full forward and Brady, Pender and Young are all big players for the team.
There are a couple of Carbury and Johnstownbridge players on the panel but by all reports the real gem (even though he only 15) is Anton Sullivan, another in the long line of classy forwards to be bred in Rhode..

Fair play to them certainly. Well done lads.

As for young O'Sullivan, seems a fairly decent prospect all right. Now if only he was 6"4 and could play midfield, he'd be playing senior intercounty soon... :P

I posted here before about Anton Sullivan after Rhode beat Clara in the U16 County Final. Like any young lad, he has a long way to go, but he's as good a prospect as you'll see. And talk about cool-headed... if anyone gets a chance to watch him this year, you should - I'm sure he'll be knocking on the door for the Rhode Minors, despite his slight build.

I nearly forgot. Well done to all involved - Super Result!
