Another chance to see the 1995 All-Ireland Hurling Final between Clare and Offaly.

The All Ireland we well and truly threw away and the day hurling was invented for a few people. If only Offaly had realised what they would releasing from the bottle by letting Clare win!
They never showed any gratitude either.
Well it wouldn't be right to lay total blame on the caped crusader.
Cyril Lyons was blatantly standing in the square before the ball came in, but you'd rarely have those infringments blown for.
John Troy had a couple of bad misses when Offaly could have pulled away.
Also Joe Errity was never brought on when he could have unsettled Brian Lohan who managed to muscle Pat O'Connor out of it.
The main problem was the lack of intensity from Offaly. The time to kill off Clare was early on while they might have had the jitters.
