Referee?
From memory, twas John Sexton from Limerick.
The conspiracy theorist in me believes he wasn't injured but refused to referee in the flood!
Now I've absolutely no evidence for that, and in any event, Fergus Smith (who was the chosen linesman and standby referee that day) wouldn't have had his own umpires present if he were called up that late in the day!
