Declan Kelly north Offaly football finally came home to roost
Look at the club league final ,Cian Johnston dropped , Joe Maher won't go commit with those managers, Daragh Flynn dropped
Kevin Nugent goalkeeper dropped
All 4 of whom proved good enough but from the wrong area
Kyle Higgins taken off lost every ball after that
Offaly co board act now

Johnson got man of the match last night and can’t make a 26 looking at forwards today ballooning ball everywhere very strange

Joe Maher didn't play senior with Ferbane last year. I suppose that's Declan Kelly's fault as well!

i dont think im biased by saying taking off kyle higgins was a huge mistake. he missed a point chance and was taken off immediately. he offered a physical ball winning presence around the middle. wicklow made hay after he was gone. all in all a huge disapointment. dunican furlong and flynn will be back next year. but we have a long way to go...

Anyways best of luck to new management who no doubt every player and fan will love and no one will fall out with or have an issue with and there will never be a bad word spoke again about offaly management once these two are gone

There will always be debate and disagreements regarding management decisions Snotser, that is normal. But unfortunately, this management team have had more than the normal and particularly Declan Kelly. We are right back where we started when he took the reins unfortunately. Obviously Mickey Harte is involved too.
I personally think Kelly has too much influence on Offaly football regarding senior team and underage and would like him to step back from all. His reputation as a U20 winning manager is being washed away by various stories and issues.
But, and this is a big but, who would be a potential replacement?

Listen to interview with Parkinson after match Mickey said there’s 12 months in me if people want me which I can say in my opinion from talking to people they definitely don’t !! Also strange he using Cillian bourke in Australia as an excuse when he never mentioned him all year

Westmeath have made more progress than Offaly with less achievements in the same timeframe offaly won the under 20 all Ireland let that sink in.
They've been in the all Ireland series.
Become leinster champions
They won the tailteann cup when it was there for the taking beating us on the way easily
Offaly are a long way from doing anything of significance other than what seems to be a league win
Threw away a big lead v Meath last year
Give Wicklow the Same opportunity
