(They won't be scoring seven goals on Sunday. They might not score any.)

Who'd want cork to win, never hear the end of it!! And the way they whipped the offaly u20s in that all ireland final.

thats because they weren't good enough got a last mintue winner in minor. take it you weren't in tullamore after we lost to carlow in the mcdonagh cup final. when the tipp supporters were roaring go for goals when they were 20 odd points ahead.

I was talking about the way cork apparently went out of their way to hurt offaly players. Supporters shouting and roaring is common among all counties.

bar the Cormac Egan hit in the square yes cork were lucky not to be down to 14. but that offaly team had most who had two years left at under 20 as corks team were under20 . size and S\C were two years ahead of offaly. cork were just way better than offaly that day there size and power plus in fairness some very good hurlers who some are involved in sundays final.

Sorry now but Cork’s “gameplan” in that first half was nothing short of disgraceful.

Along with that rat Ben O’Connor’s comments in the aftermath.

Karma bit him in the hole in the 2024 U21 Munster Final. Was delighted for him. An absolute pr1ck of the highest order.

I was delighted that Ben O’ Connor got his tail kicked by Tipperary in in that game. The Cork tactics in the 2023 U 20 final, were just hit Offaly whenever, and how often they could.

Our closest rivals win All Ireland while we scramble to beat 14 man Antrim and avoid relegation.

Incredible win for Tipp, they were everything they needed to be defensively in the first half, but when they brought composure to match the tenacious tackling they were home and hosed.
Cork on the other hand looked like a team that bought into the whole hype and just felt that if they get enough ball into the forward line it will just happen for them. They actually hit ball forward like what we did against Antrim that day.
Looking back at the Sunday game it was clear that they completely lost the tactical battle and showed very little composure on the ball. They were unlucky to a degree with some shots hitting the post and the impact was a 4 pt turnaround for the Tipp first goal. Hoggies miss just after half time was poor also.

Didn't read or see Ben O'Connors comments (anyone have a link?), Donal Og was fair enough last night and it will be a hard one to take. Know a lot of Cork people who are genuine fans and they could only see one winner.
Feel for Pat Ryan given the year he has had overall and wish him well over these coming weeks.
On the other hand fair dues to Tipp and all came across really well and Liam Cahill seems a good bloke. Will be some great celebrations as this win would clearly be seen as bonus territory.
McGraths are fine ambassadors along with young McCarthy who spoke really well after the game and is a great chap.
Anyone see up for the match? Joe Hayes came across really well , very funny and a good enough watch.

So to Tipp enjoy it and beating Kilkenny and Cork will leave this as one of the sweetest yet for them!
