Don't know much about who is in there and who isn't but;

Furlong, Dunican, Keelaghan, Bracken and most likely Keith O'Neill would have happened regardless of who was in charge.

There is an issue though in the time expected from times clubs finish to time that they are back with their counties and that is not just with Offaly, its all over the country.

There is really no off season and this is required to change sooner rather than later.

Well it is FACT that Declan Kelly goes against advice of S&C coaches. I've received info from players themselves that they are dogged unnecessarily.

We had a lad called Mickey Harte come in last year and then we won the league. Does everyone else not remember how disastrous DK's first year was when he was calling all the shots? We lost to London, LONDON, by 16 points!! The players essentially weren't going to play if Kelly was on charge again on his own. This isn't waffle. THIS IS FACTS!!

I'm not here to defend Kelly but from memory the previous league wasn't a total right off....played well v meath and Clare ...alot of that successful 20s group it was there first pop at senior intercounty in wet windy weather, that's no joke....I was at the clare game a seasoned div 2 team and Anton missed a penalty on final whistle to win the game....so let's not rewrite history ....London was unacceptable but that was so bad id actually put that down to players on the day ...if bob the builder was in charge the lads should have put on a better display on the day ....if the lads were going to walk of Kelly was on his own but stayed because harte came in that says more about them and their principles ...

Paddy Dunican did not do his ACL because of overtfaining. He's literally a goalkeeper.

And do you think Paddy D wouldn't have had to do any running at Offaly training ? This isnt 20 years ago. Paddy would be doing most of the runs too. Especially because the new rules at the start of last year encouraged the Goalkeeper to come up the field as a plus 1 before being changed after a few rounds of the leaue.

Whatever about the injuries, it’s pure speculation to say that they were all down to one man. Would this not be more the S & C coach’s fault? I doubt a senior inter-county manager is ignoring their advice, especially when injuries are racking up. Also, we do have joint managers, surely they come to agreements across the board meaning one can’t be blamed more than the other?

You can doubt it all you want, it has came from the horse's mouth (Players), that Deck has gone against S&C advice.

And also is true that he has had rows with Chris Combs the physio. So how isn't it true that it's down to one man.
Past u20 players, Past and current senior inter-county players have all spoken out on his "bad cop" methods.

He was described to me as a man who is trying to emulate Brian Cody, but (A.) Hasn't near the same smarts or people skills and (B.) Hasn't got the same level of talent Cody had.

Again, all of these words have come from people who have DIRECTLY worked with Kelly, and all have similiar answers. Why don't you ask someone involved yourself and I'm 100% sure you'll get the same answers.

Look I don’t have any real inside information on the camp. We can take your word for it alright, I just don’t see how a manager as experienced as Mickey Harte would let something slide like that, leading to his best players being injured. The U20s that got injured, maybe you do have a point.

I see personal slating is still alive and well on this disgusting forum.. you should be kicked off this forum and you're club should be kicked out of the championship.

Sure the kk players feared Cody not liked him. He hardly showed people skills with how he treated shefflin in the end...Owen Mulligan and mickey harte famously fell out and harte was too stubborn to even contact him so it's pretty stupid to act like hartes the good cop and Kelly the bad cop....do you think the meath players were liking boylan when he had them puking on the beach in bettystown...managers aren't there to be your friend...and famously gaa coaches and soccer coaches fall out with physio's over player availability etc etc...

Its whats called the silly season I guess.

Lets just call it that we have been hit with injuries, (probably no worse than many other counties), but in your opinion its all Declan Kellys fault, and aint no one changing your mind.

It looks like there's no changing your minds of whats in front of yer eyes you mean

Oh don't worry, the truth always comes out in the end anyways.

By the way, Offaly did play and lose to Galway on Saturday. I've a lot more info on that camp than you seem to think. 8)
