You seem to have a bit of a selective memory don't you? You have "forgotten" how the Tipp team stayed in the dressing room for at least an extra 6/7 minutes than they were supposed to.. And even after the referee blowing the whistle 2/3 times, ye still didnt come out. It required the linesman to go into the dressing room to get ye out.. Probably one of the most unsporting things a team can do, leaving the other team standing on the field waiting for them.. So don't come on here talking sh*te about negative tactics. Players rolling around pretending they were injured? You must have been watching a different game than me, Tipp players were down as often as Offaly players were. Fair play to Tipp they got their victory and they deserved it but we shouldn't have to listen to gobsh*tes like you coming on here winding things up.

On a final note, go off and get a dictionary before you post anything again, you'd nearly need a translation to read things you post!

Another fine example of the world famous Tipp school system. His parents would be proud of him,if only the Adoption Board could track them down.
Offaly awoke never more to sleep.

Just on your point there Uibhfhailiabu, teams staying in the dressing room way beyond the allocated time is a low tactic. I lost respect for Galway when they did it to Offaly at Portloaise in the replay and Tipp took the piss too. It was 4 minutes and 40 seconds between Offaly taking the field and Tipp taking the field (I timed it because I think it is an issue that needs to be addressed). It shows a lack of class, as well as a lack of respect to the opposition and officials. Down did it in OCP on Saturday too. It has been a pet hate of mine as long as I can remember, and it does I feel give the team who cheats by doing it an unfair psychological and physiological advantage. It is not a new problem in the GAA, and they need to tighten up on it. 15 minutes break timed by the ref, and he throws the ball in exactly 15 mins after the end of the first half. If teams wanna prick about in the changing room trying to upset the opposition let them. Have the Ref start the game, if they are not on the field tough. Let the team who obey the rules grab a goal unopposed if the opposition aren't there on time.

Speaking of lack of class. Showing up on the Offaly board to goad fans who are genuinely disappointed also displays a lack of class. Is it not enough just to win and take pride in your teams deserved victory? Why the need to come on here and give it crap. And the Irony of you complaining about some drunk offaly fans is not lost, when your behaviour is in many ways equally undesirable.

One of the things I love about this forum is the intelligent, informed debate on the various subjects. I can't stand hoganstand.com because of all the juvenile winding-up that goes on particularly when there are big derby games coming up.
The quality of the spelling, grammar and syntax declines in proportion to the quality of the posts. Please can we ignore the wind-up merchants and maybe they will go away when their ramblings are not replied to.
For the record I was surrounded by Tipp supporters in the stand and they were fine. I had a perfect view of the sending-off and I thought it completely justified but none of Tipp people near me were calling for it and some were saying he should not have walked.
As regards the opposition coming out late for the 2nd half in Portlaoise and OCP I thought we might have used the time better. Both times the Offaly lads trotted into their positions and stayed there. Luckily it was very warm so that was not an issue but I felt we could have gone to a corner and huddled and maybe stayed there until the opposition had cooled their heels for a while after coming out

Meant to mention this earlier but my sincere thanks to whole Offaly Hurling Panel for all their efforts during the year.

Some great days were had in 2010 and for that this supporter, and no doubt many others, is very grateful. You represented the county with pride.

Back to the clubs. See you in 2011.

Here here. Jumping around Hill 16 when Shane Dooley scored his equalising free against Galway brought back memories of the good oul days of the 90's and was a highlight of the summer. It is great to see these players playing with such pride in the jersey.

Yes Biffoabroad, i felt the need to post about the half time delay becuase it is one thing that really infuriates me at games. If only the Gaa would adopt your idea of starting exactly after the 15 minute break, that would cut it out fairly quick!!

Surely there is nothing more enjoyable than reading a verbal tennis match of Nicolas Mahut vs. John Isner proportions comprising of long rallies of "ur shite" - "no we r gr8 - your shit" etc.

Let him have his moment of glory. Have to say lot of Tipp people around me at the match and they were surprised and a little disappointed at how poor we were as they expected a difficult game. Have found most of them a decent bunch in me time, but would be nearer the Westmeath border meself.
