Seamus isn't playing though. He hurled for Tipperary and is now retired. Hardly on him if a lad is through on goal and gets hooked or bates it over the bar!!

That’s exactly what I said, if you read my post.

Hopefully not true, but have heard murmers a few times now in passing conversations.
As far as I know, he is under surveillance for now, don’t think it would be appropriate to get into any more details on here
I thought it was very unfair of the commentators on Radio 3 to say on more than one occasion that offaly gaa need to do everything they can to get Charlie back on the field. Charlie's health is much more important than any game of hurling. He should only return when his medical team say it is safe.

the thing is Kildare scored 3 goals against a definite top team, the conceded 27 points against the same top team, we conceded 23 points and 2 goals against a team who has capability but often doesnt or wont deliver..Goals win games as they say, it didnt for Kildare but it got them within touching distance, very much so..Ime not a man to bet, but i will guess or forwards will line out the same in 4/6 positions for next two games...and we will be all on here rebaking the same debate..I think management have achieved their capabilities coming from a low ebb..it higher level now and I genuinely don't think they are upto it...its the same debates on here for how long now..hopefully things will improve but the games speak for themselves..

I would probably go with that team maybe swap Kelly for Mahon in the corner back spot.

Ide be putting Shirley in half back line at expense of Kavanagh, who is a fine hurler and might settle in again in hb line, but apparently Sunday he was poor enough, other than that it hard to know, Ciaran Burke probably has to go in full back but Conneely is doing a decent job there if he is moved, corner back hes fine put personally just think 3 is his best..forwards I am unsure really, put Kelly (if he regains abit of form and confidence in at 14 and move out Duignan maybe?..as of last few games Kelly seems lost and worryingly its game after game, surely he is being informed of his role in the outer field position they have him in where to many he seems lost...edge of square Ide have him..MF, Luke Watkins doing ok there to me, goalkeepers hard one - Troy has done nothing wrong really, Liam Hoare deserves his chances which to be fair he is taking too..

I think Watkins and King in midfield have been very solid. It’s the same points everyone is making with regards to some of the younger lads, but it’s clear that Kavanagh will need to bulk up more. An excellent hurler, no doubts about that, but when you see Conor Whelan come on and that’s the type of forward he’s going to be up against, I just think there’s too much of a physical difference for him to be expected to make an impact defensively. It’ll come, hopefully we’ll see the real difference in a year or two’s time.

As regards to the above post, I’d like to see Guinan go back to wing back. I think he’d do more harm running at speed facing the play, rather than having to get the ball and turn his man.
