U20 final was fixed for Saturday but that has been pushed back now as the senior B semi needs to be played

It isn’t fair to suggest that Crinkill just join with Birr. We have such little clubs in Offaly, we can’t afford to lose any more. Would the best solution not be for the County Board to step in and enforce the rules that both clubs should abide by? I’m not too familiar with the ins and outs of it, but as far as I know there is some form of relative rule. Kids with no connection to Birr shouldn’t be going outside their catchment area to register with them if in fact that is what is going on.

There is no players outside the catchment area that come and actively try play for Birr and if they do they are instructed to play for crinkill

Yes i would be and to be honest i wouldnt blame them if they wanted too considering where crinkill are at.

I know for a fact there is an adult player hurling with birr who should be playing with Crinkill. And that statement is ridiculous , maybe if all the players who were hurling illegally with Birr were sent to Crinkill then they wouldn’t find themselves in this situation. But Birr don’t give a shite about Crinkill or the agreement and are not abiding by it but it’s Crinkill who are suffering and the County Board are not helping

Dodge your dreaming the agreement is one of a few in the country if was parish rule same as everywhere else ye wouldnt have a team so count yourselves lucky. Come down and join Birr instead of playing with every other club in the locality bar the one your in the parish of.

The county board are facilitating transfers etc of youngsters living in one area and playing with another club just because their father had a disagreement and the county board know too well that there are lies been told about where they are living. Im talking 13/15/16 year olds that played in one club from nursery right up to 10/12/13.
