Stephen Wallace anyone?
We got glimpses of 'sexy football" in 2018 and I believe as a county we are ready for it again.

Colm Colins would be a very worthwhile person to interview I feel. His track record with Clare with their similiar geographical divide to Offaly regarding hurling and football would be a valuable asset.
CB clearly fans of what I have to say!!
Must give them a shout regarding Brian Carroll!!

Trevor Giles? Heard him interviewed after Meath minors game this year. Comes across very well as a manager and for the players. Very well educated and knows how the new game is to be played

On giles , we are hardly going to hire a manager who's most recent position was not winning leinster at u17 with meath........if giles had maybe won an all Ireland but to go from not even winning a leinster at underage to managing our senior team would be some jump....

Manager - Anthony Cunningham
Coach - Kevin Walsh
Selectors - Niall Stack Paschsal Kellaghan Ger Rafferty.
Some variation of this is what I’d like to see. An experienced manager who has worked at the top level in this rare case both codes. Went up against Cody’s Kilkenny has seen it all managed some of the best ever Joe Canning etc. won Connacht and had Roscommon In Div 1. Brigids to within inches of all Ireland club title. Huge experience has seen it all while at the same time recent county experience and still in touch with modern game new rules etc from brigids.
Kevin Walsh is a top coach and renowned for getting a tune out of teams particularly defensively which we desperately need. Managed Sligo so knows the craic with lower tier counties. 5 years with Galway won Connachts had them in all Ireland semi final lost to Dublin best team of all time. Has been with Cork recently and they have beaten some of the best teams in the country albeit they are still inconsistent.
Selectors it’s quite simple get the best people from the club scene involved. Stack transformed Tullamore end of. Paschal has been around it for donkeys years at this stage and still proves his worth his passion for it is unbelievable and Rafferty has the link with younger players and had Ferbane within inches of a county title. These 3 men know the club scene in Offaly inside out pair that with the knowledge and experience of the two other men and all of a sudden you have a nice cocktail of smart men in the same room

Cunningham would be a good appointment.
Don't know if Kevin walsh would be good enough.
Good idea to have offaly selectors in with them.

Cian o'Neill, gone from Kerry apparently has been 'connected with a predominantly hurling county'...very good coach. A lot of recent experience, coached some of the best players of the past few seasons. Knows Leinster thru his time east of the Boyne Bridge.

Connected with a predominantly hurling county - that surely means Limerick, Clare, Wexford, Cork, Tipp or Waterford?
And a look at the relative strength of those teams would quickly whittle down the next step for him to 2 or 3.

Cian O'Neill would be my no.1 choice.
He may not want to travel as far as Offaly or go back into senior management but we should at least be having a conversation with him.
