Hearing 3 managers on shortlist to take over as senior manager in Kilcormac Killoughey. One of whom is 3 in a row winning manager with Clonkill of westmeath. The other is Ken Hogan and one internal candidate believed to be Gleeson. From a man in the know

Ken hogan is not in the picture.
Kevin o brien was one year with rynaghs then left.
This Gleeson? Is it Tony glesson, the current coach?. He has stepped away and will be in America.
Rumours of seorise bulfin taking over, but its all speculation!!

Seoirse Bulfin is actually a lovely guy. Very pleasant and loves hurling.

But if he can manage Westmeath and Kilcormac/Killoughey then he must be the greatest volunteer in the history of the GAA.

Not entirely correct.
O Brien looked to bring in a Sullivan lad from Limerick and Shane Hassett who had agreed to coach with him to Rynaghs but club voted against it. Hassett went onto coach Clare senior hurlers incidentally.. Hogan did speak to them.
As for Balfin he was unanimously voted out by entire meath hurling panel and was let go by Middleton of cork after a disaster of a year....

I assume rynaghs were unwilling to pay the expenses for two coaches.
Bulfin was with chareville in cork.? Think they won the league? From what gather from a cork man he had them maxed out for their ability but I would not be familiar with the cork scene.

Good man Frank, fascinating insight, the fact he is very pleasant and loves hurling makes him a super choice for any team

i backed kk to win this years all ire club. injurys to 2 key players and a bit of tactical nievity in the leinster final twarted then in my opinion. i consider it lent money as im sure they will win at least 1 in the next 3 or 4 years. getting the right manager in is of vital importance. saoirse wouldnt be that person i feel. ken hogan would be a good choice if hes available.
