Tullamore lost a Division 3 league semi-final last weekend to Daingean. This is largely (although not entirely) Daingeans second string team to my knowledge. I know Tullamore were short a few too, not sure how many or who they were even.
Is Tullamores junior championship team much different than this particular team that lined out against Daingean? Or does anyone know? I would've expected Tullamore to account for Daingean in this league semi-final based on league results up to that point.

Apparently Tullamores Senior hurlers involved with the Junior football team had a challenge match and had to play that instead of the Daingean match so Tullamore were down a few alrite.

Does anyone know what way K/K are shaping up. They were idle in the first round and are down to play Clara tonight

More like hammered Clara 2-10 K/K 0-04! Pad Joe must have the hurlers banned from kicking the big ball this year??

Partially that, but I'd say this is a very good Clara team too. Favourites for this competition it seems.

Cappincur will be relieved after Clara beating KK. What about Clara losing lads to senior. Much of a chance of that happening

Junior results from tonight
Ballinagar 1-13 Edenderry 2-3
Tullamore 0-6 Ferbane 2-8
Shamrocks 1-2 Killiegh 3-21
Ballycumber 1-17 Ballycommon 4-11

Thats some thumping for Shamrocks and at home as well they must really be struggling this year!
Great result for Ballycommon!
Ferbane must be one of the hot favourites along with Clara!

That was a super result for Ballycommon but it was that I saw coming. Ballycumber continued to play their senior players in the league and I thought as much that they would be found out come the championship. All is not lost for them tho and 1-17 is a fair score to put up and still be bet.

Killeigh have put another nail in the Shams coffin and one would not be suprised if they pull out.

Looks to be a big game in Ferbane Sunday morning now when Ferbane and Ballinagar go at it in a top of the group clash. Both sides ended up in the relegation final last year and to be fair to them, they have obviously been working hard to get things right this year.

That's a great result for Cappincur. Consolidating them as front runners certainly.

Shamrocks just started 15 players, they had a problem geting a team, and 2 subs arrived after the throw in. Killeigh had a big win, and did their score difference no harm, they have a home game v Tullamore on Sunday morning. It will be a different affair. Ferbane had a good win last night.
Looks like Tullamore and Ferbane will be the ones to beat. Ballinagar picked up 2 points, and their game with Killeigh will be a cracker.

Ferbane reinforced their lead on top of the table with a 9 point victory over Ballinagar.
Tullamore were back to winning ways with a one point victory over Killeigh.
Cappincur received a walkover from Ballycumber who strangely enough couldnt filed a team.

Tommorrows fixtures include:
K/K vs Daingean
Ballycommon vs Gracefield

Ferbane look to have their fate in their own hands now in Group 1. Group 2 looks to be the more exciting group. Another big score from Ferbane as they hit 3-20 and in truth could have had another goal or two. Ballinagar had a 5 minute purple patch in the first half when they hit 3 goals but Ferbane never panicked and went in 1-11 to 3-2 up at half time.

They kicked on from there and kicked some super points. Any other reports on other matches?

Cappincur v Daingean

Terrible display by Daingean. Must be one of the lowest points for Daingean football in years. No fight or heart and just laid down to an average Cappincur team. Daingean were actually leading this game about 10 mins in the second half when Cappincur got a goal and the Daingean resistance fell apart. Not looking good for them for this season at all.

Ferbane are having some good results, its not easy to beat Ballinagar. How come Ballycommon cant field a team? Are they pulling out or was it something else?
