The Galwegians make two enforced changes - Andrew Smith for Cyril Donnellan and Íarla Tannian for Joseph Cooney. They intend to line out as follows: -
Colm Callanan; David Collins, John Lee, Ger O Halloran; Ger Mahon, Tony Óg Regan, Adrian Cullinane; Donal Barry, David Burke; Éanna Ryan, Andrew Smith, Ger Farragher; Aonghus Callanan, Íarla Tannian, Johnny Coen.

Looking at that Galway team, I find no reason why Offaly can't beat them tomorrow and get their first league points on the board for 2011.

The only thing I would say is Offaly will have to keep the free count down and not give away silly frees because Ger Farragher will make no mistake from a dead ball situation.

So only enforced changes then.

I suppose on the one hand it's a bit hard to make too many changes to a side that just won your last game by seven points, but we won a lot of possession against Cavan with just Coughlan and Dalton in midfield - albeit a lot of it was because Slattery was picking up breaks really well. I'm not sure that what Niall Smith brings in terms of fielding is going to be the right ingredient to fill the gap left by Anton's movement and energy, but having said that there is a certain logic to sticking with what was working and make changes as the game goes on.

Offaly to win football, and lose hurling.

Keane is the obvious replacement fot Slatts, feel sorry for Egan no matter how well he plays he will still be taken off at half time or early in the second half and if Dalton and Coughlan are struggling in midfield then Smith is the obvious option to slot in there. This will be a tough battle against a Wexford side who will be high on confidence after hitting 4.11 against Waterford but we would much more comfortable playing them in OCP than that horrible kip of a Wexford Park.

13 Euro. Great value. Other than the Offaly hurling performance and the first half of the football!!
