Well I didn't hear anyone from Down shouting "blow it up" either.
Pat Donegan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.

I think ye're missing the point lads! Delamere didn't actually have to be at the match to create the material in order to get a laugh. I found that particular gag quite funny. Some of his other quips might have been better kept til after the 9pm watershed.

Keeping the thread title but not necessarily agreeing with it – time to crank up the usual pub talk for this time of the year - the new CAA/GPA combined awards ..
Thoughts on Shane Dooley not making it to the short list??

Kilkeeny lead the way with 14 nominations for this year's GAA GPA All Star hurling awards.
In total, six counties are represented, with All-Ireland runners-up Tipperary having 10 players nominated, the same number as Allianz League winners Dublin.
Waterford have six nominees. while Limerick have three and Galway have two.

Re: Hurling All Stars Joke
Joe Bergin stood out to me this year more than Shane Dooley, whereas Shane had an incredible 2010. If the two of them are on song next year and the new manager makes an impact Offaly might do some damage.
Re: Hurling All Stars Joke
Dublin have 9 players on the list which is a bigger joke, Galway won the league the year before and pushed tipp to 1 point i think they had 3 that year
Shane Dooley had another great year as had Joe Bergin right they might not be on the all star team but they should have been on the selection before some
that are on it.

I think Pat Horgan from Cork is a lot more unlucky than either Dooley or Bergin. To get on the all stars list you need more tv time
