The first half was dire alright but the second half picked up considerably which wouldn't have been difficult. I agree with naasman that when Niall put away the penalty to make it 1.8 to 0.6 we were tempted to head for the exits. I thought the game turned when Ronan Mooney and James Kavanagh were replaced by Derek Molloy and Tom Coughlan with Molloy scoring the all important Shamrocks goal. PJ Ward gave Shane Sullivan a torrid time and by full time had notched 0.5[ o.4 from play], Roy Malone was badly missed for the champions, his direct running would have caused that Shamrocks defence fierce problems. In my opinion Paschal was man of the match by a distance, apart from scoring 0.4[2 from play] he covered every blade of grass in the park.
One last thing, I can't understand why Ronan Mooney even started last night, he couldn't even walk let alone run and it was obvious to everyone there that he is not one bit fit, the only surprise was how it took so long for him to be replaced.

I don't know how you can say this. I thought they cancelled out each other. Super only won a few balls when R. Mooney went off.
