The problem with the delay to the game because of the ridiculous situation in the stand causing supporters to cross the field and the inexcusable mistake of getting David Kennys name wrong when announcing for the minutes silence? It really is sickening that these things keep happening.
I think they were running behind schedule with the match day roster by then.
Offaly and Waterford had been delayed by the overfilling of the Michael Lowry stand.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I've never been 100% comfortable with pay at the stiles games.
I'd never be confident that every spectator is accounted for in the attendance and that every penny paid is handed over.

There was an official attendance of 2600 in Tullamore yesterday evening. I'll leave other posters here who were in attendance to make of that what they will.

Would there have been 500/600 on the hill? That leaves only 2000-2100 or so in the stand which would be less than a third full.. It looked around half full to me but kids were free and I know my youngest lad came through the stiles with me and wasn't counted..

There weren't many left at the end mind - the Down stats man was the only one left in my row of seats... I think he got through 2 crosswords and a Sudoku in the 2nd half :(

there looked like only about a 1/3 there compared to the westmeath game.

I came in at 7.00 on the dot, went up the first stair with my wife and two kids, and we pretty much had the whole of the section from the stair to the road to choose from.

PS id say about 300 left at half time and about the same once downs third goal went in.
