Spent a bit of time in that part of the world, dennis Corbetts on the way up to the field has the best porter in town by a country mile but might not be much of a stir in it, the arch bar in the square has quality porter and is a fair ol pub, the county bar across the way will be jammed but the porter is fair bad...although if the sun is out and huge bottles of apple juice are the order of the day it won't really matter.....!!

I dont think offaly should fear waterford even though there a step above an overrated limerick. If mcgrath starts at full back i think this would be good for offaly because its taking the best hurler in the country for the last 5 or 6 years out of a position where he dominates games. The forwards should be able to put up a nice score against the waterford backs who can be loose at times. Mullane is the main treat up front and id move franks over onto him as franks is one of the best corner backs in the country imo. If kenny can keep dan and eoin kelly from doing much when they are in full forward aswell i think we will give them a very good game, hopefully.
