What are you implying there Oceans 15? Did several lads "gang up" on poor PJ and he couldn't take the flak and just walked then? Young Casey walking doesn't say much for his character either. Surely you would stay around and if you were that good you would be able to prove this to management at training etc?

That article pretty much says it all. That management team are a joke.

As for the Ward situation, the players in question were from Rhode.

All the lads that left the panel this year are quality footballers and would have been a huge addition.

I think we all have heard how the Ward situation came about and bringing it back up again is not going to do any good. Also its gettin very near to naming the others involved and that is definitely not the way we want to go. Unless Ward or any of the others that have left the panel are coming back anytime soon I think it is pointless discuussing them and what they would or would not have brought to the squad. Best to just discuss what we have and not concentrate on the might have beens.

I dunno about that!! I think if a player has been pushed off the panel because his other team mates "ganged up" on him then I definitely think we should be discussing it. I mean it's not as if there is a depth in talent in Offaly that we can pick and choose what players we'd like on the team because of their personality!

If he was putting in the work then no player has the right to drive him off the panel...surely??

I dont understand what this fixation with getting Ward back. This is a lad who has run away every time something has gone against him. If he were to come back I would be sure that he would find something else down the line to make him throw a hissy fit again. Now some people might say that he was sinned against but not everyone knows the full story and Ward does not have previous for nothing. Now I would suggest that people get behind the lads that are there and stop looking back, it does no good at all.

To be honest I'd agree with you. I think Ward has a soft underbelly and isn't up to the fight. But that's not what I'm worried about. My worry is that a group of players decided to give themselves the authority to basically remove someone off the panel.

if they Offaly lads were as good as bullying opposition players they would be better off. Some off the comments re Ward are disgraceful but you wouldn't expect anything else from the football fans in Offaly the North Offaly boys big men but can't stand up when counted on.

I agree. Its interesting the players doing the bulling were our worst players against Westmeath.

Based on the game against Westmeath, we have a lot of bullies in the team

If someone knows the exact facts they should post them but I think most of the posters commenting on this are full of shite and don't know the whole story.. but hey, don't let that get in the way of wild speculation..

Don't belive everything you read in the papers.. As I said, if you know the facts of the incident(s) surrounding Ward, you should post them. Otherwise you're just talking shite.

As I posted a day or two ago, the journalist that printed this article couldn't get basic facts around the Ken Casey incident correct, so why should we take his word on anything else in the article.

I dont think anyone knows what happined with ward here.

If he was punched as reported then that player/s should be named if anyone knows, thats not on. If it was Niall mcnamee punched by another player there would be up roar. And Im no big fan of wards footballing ability either.

Royalblue dont go calling someone a gobshite if they disagree with you, If you know the facts of what happined then what are they?
