Ah Black and Red exile, yer not going to go home with the ball, at least leave it with us we'll drop it over later. I promis.

I'm after getting a great kick out of this trend, which started out as a few words in jest some of yez get fierce excited. Pity we can't get the players to get as hyper as this! Would ye all get a grip, reckon it fustration of nothing to talk about.

Finally a bit of spite on this website....keep it going, nothing like a bit of conflict between lads.

The reality is....Quirke is quiet a good goalie, for a big guy he has excellent reflex's, he's got a solid kick out & is pretty solid under a high ball.

Podge, has gone back alot since 97...I think he lost alot of interest in playing for the county back in 2003 when he went to the states & he's never been the same keeper since he came back!!!

He still is capable of keeping Offaly in a game with a fantastic save, but he has no confidence in the defenders in front of him...which is why he has to come for balls he will never get.

I still rate him as the best in Offaly...although there's not really a whole lot of good keepers in the county anyway!!!

Playing in goals is easily the worst position on the field to play...because any mistake you make usually is a hugely costly 1 & while people watching the game might forget that a corner forward kicked 5 awful wides or that a defender kicked every clearance straight to the opposition...but if a keeper makes a mistake of any kind & it ends up as a goal...every person leaving the match will remember it!!!

As for Black & Red exile watching Emmerdale...surely there was something else on you could have watched?

As for Oceans 15 & Efan...get a life boys, yer probably 2 gimps who adore all those county footballers...like anyone can have an opinion on a player, be him a county or club player!!! If the only people who could judge county players were people who had at some stage played for the county themselves then there probably would be no need for this website, because i'm guessing that 75% of the people on this website have never quiet made it up to county standard!!!

It doesn't mean that supporters aren't entitled though to make observations & thats all the lads did...was make an observation that Quirke reminds them of Kelly in his hay-day...there's nothing wrong with that statement!!!

I'm sure Ocean's 15 & Efan mean well here in standing up for the lads...but I'm pretty sure Podge isn't that easily offended & he's always struck me as a guy that oozed confidence in his own ability!!!

Lads, I certainly didn't expect my few little words on this topic to cause such interest with everyone and I certainly didn't put this post up to give ye all a good giggle, but Im sure like anyone on this site that If you are called a dickhead by a loser who you don't even know its human nature to retaliate and defend yourself and hit back twice as hard which is what happened, but to tell you the truth im bored fighting with this tosser OCEANS 15 so good riddance to him.
By the way untouchable that was an excellent post by yourself, you would make a great peace ambassador although yourself and TURK are out of order about EMMERDALE, Its a super show that I never miss so don't be picking on it.
