Maybe the Roscommon team will show the same commitment to showing up to the game as their counterparts from Stolen Sheep last year....

Jaysus, I was just thinking about that a few minutes ago as I logged onto Stolen Sheep to see what the mood in Roscommon was like!
The Offaly county board should put a pool table in their dressing room and hope they take their cue (pardon the pun).
Or else we could sponsor a beer promotion in Bozo's or Rockfords on Saturday night with free vouchers for all Rossie squad members.

Plays-offs a possibility in Division 2A
03 April 2007
The GAA’s Management Committee has ruled that if teams in Division 2A of the NFL finish level on points, they must face play-offs.
The decision not to use scoring difference to decide the standings was taken in the wake of Offaly forfeiting a league point from their drawn Division 2A clash with Longford after it was ruled that Ken Casey – who had been sent off in an under 21 match – was ineligible to play.
This looks set to impact on deciding relegation places next season, but if it also comes into play in deciding the top two divisions, it could delay the Division 2 semi-finals. The semi-finals have already had to be shifted from April 15 because of the postponed Division 2A clash between London and Leitrim, which will be the only game in the division going ahead this weekend.

An interesting turn of events.
Either way, we really have to beat Roscommon in Tullamore in 2 weeks.
