There's also a guy wearing an Offaly jersey in a Snoop Dog video, if anyone has ever seen the video of them down in Brazil, there's a point in the video where they have all these people playing drums & one of the lads is wearing an Offaly jersey (if you look very carefully you should even be able to make out the Carroll Meats on the front of it).

I was in Rio about 18 months ago and went to the very spot in the video you are talking about Untouchable. It is in the middle of a place called Lapa and they have street parties there four nights a week. That street is infamous for its drug trade. They sell just about every drug you can think of there and the surrounding streets but that one is the worst. Like a homecoming for Snoop then.

When we were there I heard a crack like fireworks going off and in seconds crowds of Brazilians came running down the street towards us. One of my mates decided to go up the road and have a look at what was going on. He saw a guy lying in the street with half his scull missing with blood already running into the gutter.

Needless to say we got the hell out of dodge.

On the Snoop video. I can't make out the Carroll's Meat clearly, but if it can be great.

But unless people are absolutely certain about the Carroll's Meat on the front of that jersey there could be another possible explanation.

I was walking through Penn Station NYC late one night to catch my train and low and behold I see a group of black and hispanics chatting. I almost lost my step when I saw what I thought was an Offaly jersey on one of them. At the risk of missing my train I went over to investigate.

In broken English the puzzled wearer of the jersey explained that it was of a Brazilian club soccer team. Amazing, patch on the chest - similar style black writing on the front with the green white and gold in perfect proportions.

Had to run at that point. Wasn't going to get much more out of him anyway.

Saw one hanging over the fence at the first Ahes test in Brisbane recently. Looked like a Rynagh's man sitting behind it.

i was in lisbon recently at the celtic v benfica game. i was outside a bar with friends wearing my offaly shirt, when the portugese national paper took our photos and featured it the next day. while we were being photographed a scottish fella dived in the photo wearing the offaly home, he said he swapped it in glasgow a few years back because he loved the colours!
