Graham Geraghty standing for election in Meath West

Post by Lone Shark »

Let's not worry about the political aspect to it, I'm just chuckling to myself that since if he was to stand, he'd be allocated the west side of the constituency, which includes the area around Delvin in North Westmeath.

I'd say they'll love the sight of a load of Geraghty posters looking down on them up there.....

Tis confusing. So there is part of Westmeath in the Meath West constituency.
West of the Meath West constituency, you have the Westmeath constituency...except for a part of Westmeath that is in the Meath West constituency.

To save confusion they should get (force) county Meath to absorb Westmeath into it. Or else officially rename Westmeath to Wastemeath.
