A third Leinster win for the Tubber lads yesterday - 1-8 to 0-8 over Bunbrosna to reach the Leinster intermediate final. No doubt for a club like Tubber there was no shortage of competitiveness in any game against a Westmeath club! I think they play Confey of Kildare now in the final, though as always it's hard to pick a favourite in these kind of games.
What is for sure is that these lads certainly look like they'll be very competitive at senior level in Offaly next year. I wouldn't expect them to take out Rhode or anything, but they look like a quarter final slot would be well within their reach. Certainly with two more teams due to be relegated, and Tubber looking strong, Edenderry mightn't be the last big club who'll have to be very wary of the trapdoor opening underneath them.
Tubber kicking on!

Mad Mac.......
I agree... But this is Mad Mac after all!!That doesn't really make sense - if you had a last minute penalty at 0-8 to 0-8, surely you'd just chip it over the bar?
