Poor game to watch. Ballinamere average enough today. Never really got going until last 5 minutes when essentially the game was up.

Kk deserving winners but are not exactly setting the world alight with their hurling.

Can't really see them go too far in leinster if I'm honest.

A terrible county final.
Both sets of teams rolling around looking for frees, particularly Ballinamere. Not helped by whistle friendly Reff.

No more than Tullamore last week, KK probably the weakest they’ve been in 4 years and still won without looking like going into top gear.

4 in a row for KK.
4 in a row for Tullamore.
With both looking like they won’t make much of a dent in Leinster.

Not good at all for Offaly lads, not good at all.

Kk and Tullamore can only beat what in front of them in Offaly

Ballinamere seemed to more focused on physicality and hard man stuff off the ball

When it came to physical battles on the ball ballinamere had no answer to KK’s dogs for the hard road

Thought a few frees were very much on the soft side. The whistle was blown a bit too much for my liking, but maybe the players were putting themselves in a position to be pulled. Another part to this was the amount of times lads got blocked or hooked, led to so many rucks.

KK were the better team and should have won by a lot more. Thought Kilmartin and Mahon were unsung heroes, some service they have given to their club. Guinan and Screeney were really good, great to have players like that where you know they’ll do well.

Ballinamere will probably be a bit disheartened at their own display. They needed Duignan to have games like he had in earlier games, but he was marshalled very well. I do think they’ll be the closest challengers for the next few years, but hard to see KK being beat.

Kildare hurling final between maynooth and naas hasn't been played yet. It's fixed for next Sunday

One of the worst finals I've seen in many's a year.

Offaly club hurling seems to have the same issue the football has, one dominant team who only have to go through the motions to win the county title yet aren't good enough at the provincial level.

It will be naas who win that. 10 points or more.
Won semi final 44 points to 6. Have conceded 33 points in this year championship and scored 23 goals and 118 points.

They are virtually untouchable in kildare. Also in the intermediate final the day before senior.

Aye Naas all day long. Think they have something like 10 of the Kildare team. It’s away too so nothing simple.

Very poor game today - never got going. Not really a single goal chance. The Ballinamere shot near the end was straight at the keeper from 20 yards. It’s hard to believe that with 7 county players, 5 starters that Ballinamere couldn’t put up a better fight……

Apalling match yesterday. I'd imagine TG4 regretted their choice.

KK the better team. Ballinamere close enough to have regrets but also hope for the future. The next few county titles will be contested between those two and (based off consistent underage competitiveness) Shinrone. That said, the most likely outcome (gievn their rampant underage sucess at all grades over the last few years) is that KK will annex the next 7-8 with ease.

Overall, much like the football, a very forgettable championship. No real shocks or games to live long in the memory. An inevitable outcome. It's getting stale.

Roll on the inter county season.

I really thought it was up there with one of the worst final in recent times. Kk will win most of the next 10 county finals also with not a whole lot of competition.
From a Ballinamere point of a view they just dont have a enough numbers and hard see where they will win a county final with noting coming through they have what they have and their second team is junior so basically no depth what so ever.

In reality that Ballinamere team isnt really a Ballinamere team - its a Durrow team playing as Ballinamere.

Tom Spain has been a great transfer for k/k. Very solid and kept brian duignan to a piont from play yesterday. Who do ye think will get senior hurler of the year. Was only at 4 senior A matches this year so haven't seen enough of the championship to pick a player
