Minor and u20 ambition for 2027

Post by Barnet »

What's our thoughts on next year for both codes? Who is managing what,? I have not heard much on it. Our minor hurling team should be OK next year as our u 20 fpotbsll team should be to, alot of players on last year's under 20 football team are still under age. I don't know much about our minor footballers.

U16s were well ran this year and will make an impact at minor. Plus westmeath, kildare, laois are not as good so should at the bare minimum at least get back into tier 1.

Could we leave the 2027 Minors - who are currently 15 and 16 - out of this and let them get on with their hurling and football?

What's the issue?
As long there's no personal stuff see no real reason to not chat about minor and u20?
You've posted a good bit about underage hurling in the past.

What's the issue? I'd have thought that was fairly obvious.

And I haven't posted much on Minor hurling in the last few years - not since it went to U17.

To be fair to people here regarding the minor hurlers it has been the management and underage structures that have been the target of their criticism.

We all know the players are doing their best despite the obvious challenges they face.
