Offaly playing the Leinster hurling standard bearers in a crucial game in Tullamore and SuperHans ends up 2 and a half hours away at a Tailteann Cup game between 2 of the weakest sides in the country!

not sure of Superhans or whatever his name is first sport is, maybe he was down that way on other travel and went to the football, not sure of what way any of these draws go in either championship now or Tailteann, one wouldnt want a whole pile going on in their lives to be fully upto speed with what way it goes next...if we did get London, if they are still in it, it would be a tricky game...they had a decent league be it in the basement...we are living in their attic next year so wouldnt be getting carried away after one win v fellow attic occupier
I didn’t get to the game but one thing I’d make a point of is the reaction of Jack McEvoy and Dylan Hyland on RTE’s terrible highlights package at the end of the game. Think it shows that despite a tough season, the lads are going all out to do their best in this competition and will no doubt get a burst of energy and confidence from that win.
Tough home draw, but going in as presumable underdogs might suit us, as someone said earlier.

Down will be favourites to beat Leitrim, unless the whole show in Down has collapsed after their collapse against Armagh, other side of the coin is they will be a wounded animal V Leitrim and Offaly if they get over Leitrim, they certainly wont be afraid of Offaly. Leitrim played well in Connaught, interesting to see how that form carries in the 2nd tier competition.
Down at home is a tough draw but they will have the quick turnaround

Actually a great draw. Get a test against the best team in the competition at home. Safety net of a preliminary quarter final if we lose.
