Screeny flourishing on the wing with the extra space. Might be worth looking at, but maybe it's a luxury UL can have being the dominant team.

Lovely point by Adam to win it. Man of the match! Liam Hoare’s distribution is top class.

No Cathal o Neill or Adam English for UL maybe its a gaa thing but the amount of young talent on the sidelines is frightening.

Adam was excellent as was Pat Tafee also agree Hoares puck outs different gravy.

Hoare had an outstanding game.
He was landing a lot of puckouts yesterday in the second half in the perfect area for the forwards to break onto. Knocked over a couple of long range frees with ease, and did the bread and butter stuff of goalkeeping perfectly.
He has a huge presence too standing between the sticks, I think Mark Troy, good and all that he is will struggle to keep Liam out of the team for the championship. It's a great problem for us to have.

A good night for Offaly in the sense that Pat Taaffe hurled well, Liam Hoare hurled really well, and Screeney looked like himself in a way that we never saw at any stage in 2025.

But a disappointing night in the sense that Dan Bourke went off injured, and looking at him as he hobbled into the dressing rooms after, he didn't look at all comfortable and that could well be a significant injury. Hopefully not, but we'll see what news breaks.
Kevin Egan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.

I’d imagine a lot of people are revisiting their predictions of this bring our best chance of a league win after results for both sides last weekend. Still, I think (hope) Offaly can trouble Waterford. Our injury situation doesn’t help, I’m assuming Dan Bourke is another addition to the long injury list. Really, for us the league has to be about building a squad and giving lads throughout the panel meaningful game time. Would be nice to get a win, but hopefully a good competitive performance and rebuild a bit of confidence. This is a 2-4 year project, probably with a new management team from next year and probably yo-yoing between divisions, so patience will be needed.

Ross will do alright there today I think.
Big performance in us for this 1. Our last game I really enjoyed it up to around the 40 minute mark. I thought we played very well, unfortunately we don't have the legs or the panel at the second but we are definitely improving

Johnny kelly please step aside and let Leo O’Connor take this group forward.

What in the name of god is Adam Screeney Eoin playing a full game down in Waterford in them conditions he played a full game on Wednesday and has a final next week? He will be the one whinging in the summer when players are injured Tipp gave McCarthy 10 minutes last night Offaly will be relegated regardless if they won today so that is absolutely brainless from kelly

Weather doesn’t suit Screeney playing for frees all the time refs will cop on to that spent more time on the ground than his feet. Duignan wouldn’t pass a hand grenade not for the first time how is nothing being said to him? Eoghan Cahill was good in the lower tiers but he hasn’t the athleticism to compete with these teams.

Will be a short year lads
Kilkenny L
Galway L
Dublin L
Wexford L
Kildare W

A good first half by Offaly. We missed a couple of goal chances, which went over the bar. Waterford much better in the second half, their goal killed it.
I think Offaly did not score until the last 10 minutes. Hard to see a win in the remaining league games.

Thought the back line were ok Ben coneely is a touch of class , very poor return from the forwards with exception of screeny and maybe Cahill, how can we not find a way to have oisin and Brian more involved instead of the 2 them standing waiting for the big high ball

Cahill wasn't too bad , screeey was good but no way should he have even played what is Johnny Kelly doing what if screeny got injured he then misses out on the UL final just brainless stuff
