Yes Shinrone better team throughout.

Birr were missing Eoghan Cahill and Morgan Watkins

Was at the shinrone birr game
Birr were poor
Shinrone looked very fit but a lot of overplaying.
When is the first round of the championship?

Kinnitty relegated from Division 1 after a comprehensive 10 point loss to Tullamore.

They seem to be struggling going by their underage teams. Their U14’s hurl in the C grade, their U16’s hurl B (and lost to Gracefield during the week) and they have no minor team.

Numbers must be a big issue.

Went to the game, left after 40 minutes. Low level stuff. Kinnitty had 16-17 players. Not at the races at all. Tullamore played well first 20 minutes then when they realised they were going to win handy dropped off their level too. Kinnitty and clareen in serious trouble.

Seemingly Kinnitty were down 7 starters.

Pinch of salt possibly needed!

How many of those 7 are coming back and when. It was a hard watch.

I wouldn’t have a clue to be honest.

Was just hearsay from a local.
