Recent decisions on red cards and subsequent appeals has shown the GAA are happy for players to dive and feign injury.
Our players need to take note of this and hit the deck at every opportunity now. No reward for being honest, every incentive for being deceitful.

Think it's a bit unfair to say the waterford player dived last Saturday. James is a solid bit of stuff and gave him a good rattle. It was never a red card. All this shite has started because of Tony Kelly not getting a red earlier in the league. It was highlighted on the telly that night and unfortunately a few players have got a few soft red cards since. Pity for james to miss the final after playing all the way through

Here we are now looking for all sorts of positive affirmations that we are again competing with traditional counties????
FFS, what GAA person really goes around saying they are delighted to see such and such a county back up there?
From what I can see, we don't like any other county out there.
Lads here quoting "Leix" and "Klare".....wondering whether we are rivals with westmeath.

I don't have the time or the interest in wondering about what other counties think and say, certainly have zero interest in browsing their forums.
All that will keep us progressing is working at it ourselves...literally on the ground ...as our politicians say, rather than on t'internit...and getting arses on seats at matches.

But I do have an issue when it comes down to the GAA and the bullshit, "We all Belong", clearly we don't all belong at a Div 1 hurling league final thats fixed for Cork. I don't belong as a member who should be able to source tickets to bring my club team of juveniles to watch it from terrace as all stand tickets sold in minutes. Anyone with a brain (or who cared), would know that cork would fill the Park on their own.
Also in relation to James Mahon...he was hard done by and Kevin C is going Eamon Dunphy on it there.
Kevin should be highlighting the fact that the Waterford player wasn't hurt, hit on the head. The Waterford player was fouled and maybe a yellow card , move on.
Kevin and his ilk should now be focussing on the epidemic of diving, (not blatant) but subtle dives. David Clifford, case in point with aidan O'Shea last Sunday. O'Shea had a nigh enough arm across, but Clifford hit the deck and won the free.
Notice the word "won" has nearly replaced "Awarded"......I have no issue with forward trying to draw a free and maybe as there is so many different interpretations of pulling and dragging/holding in the tackle v the tackle, guys fell they may hit the deck to ensure they get the free they believe they are entitled to.

Anyway just a thought... maybe things were getting too positive.

As a matter of interest though, how many will be at the league final on Sunday from Offaly in Cork? 3/4000?
And on last Sunday, was there 5k there from Offaly?

Not going to Offaly Waterford.....but I agree that the capacity of Parnell is low, so getting in early to get my tickets for that. Bought 3 this morning just to be certain. Would be great if we could slowly peddle tickets over next fortnight and be out in force then on the day.

€15 for a Leinster championship match is great value to be fair.

I’m going and in total there’s 15 from the club going (assuming that there’s not others that have got tickets outside of the club). Had 15 requests and got the 15 from OCB so was able to sort everyone (13 stand and 2 terrace).
