The game in Cusack Park next weekend, will not be easy. Castletown have beaten Thomas town by11 points. Thomas town were favourites to win today, and possible Leinster Champions. That was blown away today. Castletown are at home, and will fancy their chances. Na Fianna and St. Martin’s are on the other side of the draw.

KK clearly the better team, with much superior touch and movement, but it got a bit tight for a period in the second half around James Doyle’s bullet of a goal. I thought Colin Spain was magnificent throughout, got on a huge amount of ball, and the highlight finishing off a lovely team point in the second half.

I see that the Ulster SFC semi-final at 3.15pm is live on TG4 next Sunday, but not mention of what's the early game - decent shout that this one in Mullingar will be live I'd say? Looked back at the TG4 player there but didn't see mention of it.

Edit: Yep, it's live on TG4 next Sunday.

Na Fianna v St Martin's in Parnell Park on the same day at 3pm.

The final is in Croke Park at 7.50pm on Saturday 30th, preceded by the football final at 5.45pm.

With outstanding young Westmeath and Castletown Geoghegan hurler David O’Reilly having lived his whole life in Tubber, and Tom and Alan Spain involved with Kilcormac Killoughey, will TG4 be dubbing this The Brosna Gaels Derby? 😄

Can’t find what thread it was on but those who fancied KK at big enough odds for Leinster a month back must be pretty happy now, with OLG and Thomastown both gone.

I’ll go for a KK Na Fianna Leinster final.

Betting for the all ireland ranks the teams as Ballygunner Loughrea Na Fianna Slaughtneil Kilcormac Sarsfields St Martins CGH Portaferry.

I think Na Fianna and KK are both better than Loughrea, but the provincial factor helps Loughrea here (or else when Loughrea are beat the Galway crowd can say it was a hindrance).
Wouldn’t count Slaughtneil out at all, looked very impressive the other night and themselves and the Antrim teams always perform in the club championships.

That's exactly it - Na Fianna and Kilcormac-Killoughey both have to win two games to get to the stage that Loughrea are already at, if it was a power ranking from here, it probably would be Na Fianna 2nd and KK 3rd, with not much between them. It is beginning to look as if Ballygunner are a bit of a distance ahead of the rest of the pack though. That surge before half-time yesterday was ominous.

Tubber and Rosemount share a border, they're in the same parish. Father is from Rosemount I believe so he was sent to Rosemount school and Rosemount GAA. Such is life. Unbelievable young hurler and fair play to him. He'd have an AI U20 and Joe McD medal in his back pocket with us mind you.

Injuries starting to mount for kk. Screeney had come off vs mulli s with a mouth injury. Is he fit to play?

I’d hope both Screeneys will be okay. Adam was getting a fair bit of “attention” on and off the ball; given his stature, he’s probably going to have a lot of that in the next few years. Jack made a big contribution the last day vs St Mullins. Don’t know about a mouth injury as I was on the opposite bank in NCP.
Cillian Kiely looked very close to a return. Maybe he can play some part on Sunday?
Ter Guinan would be a loss off any team.

He didn’t exactly lose a tooth in the way you would lose your keys.
