Very little between top teams at intermediate and senior b level overall.

An awful beating could be in store for Drumcullen tomorrow down in Nowlan Park against St Lachtain’s of Freshford.

Pat Donegan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.

"Offaly's hurling is exact and abrasive: full of assurance on the ball, devoid of fumbling and slicing and sod-busting". Kevin Cashman RIP (September 1994).

Not trying to be smart or anything, similar would have faced our lads if second teams could go through. Hard enough go play Kilkenny teams in these games but it’s made even harder when you haven’t won your own title.
Kilkenny clubs have dominated this championship, winning 17 out of the 23 titles.
A good Carrig side lost last years final by 12 points to Tullogher Rosbercon who won the all ireland.
Similar will await Clodiagh Gaels versus Lisdowney in the intermediate championship.

Incorrect. Thomastown won the Intermediate Leinster Final beating Bray Emmets in Aughrim. Carrig were beaten in the Junior Final by Tullogher Rosbercon as said below.

I wasn't sure. I knew both clubs went on to win all irelands. Kk clubs are very strong once they come out of their own county.
