I'm sure there is some serious head scratching among the cats .
I just think the cork backline is to well drilled

Great to think that both teams in the final played Offaly this year, we could have took Clare in the league granted they weren’t at full tilt, and we ran Cork close enough after playing the JMC 6 days before hand.
Hard game to call, Cork after beaten Limerick are favourites but a final is a different animal, Clare won’t roll over and have some serious match winners.

Probably gonna age like milk but

I can't see Clare keeping it pucked out against cork come the home straight. Clare were very poor in the Munster final ,ok they bounced backed against Wexford , but last Saturday was down to how poor KK were the second half more so then anything Clare really had to do, for 3/4 of the game they were terrible. Cork or limerick woulda buried either Clare or kk with a 5 point lead early in the second half.

Interested to hear what lads reckon is next for Limerick, with Nickie Quaid the oldest at 35 and Dec Hannon oldest outfield at 31 , 32 for next season , will many really step away bar the likes of Mulcahy at this stage ? Do they have Kilkenny 2011 to 2015 in them ?

clare havent really played well collectively all year and yet are in an all ireland final. remember they beat the same cork team in supervalu park in the round robin. without tony kelly and ryan taylor. its a hard one to call in my opinion. saying clare wont keep it pucked out to cork is silly talk.

The only outstanding thing is , could that possibly be corks best game can they do it again it's happened before where teams were very good in the semi final but never fou that same Intensity after

You couldn't find much fault with there game v Limerick where clare had v kk

Offaly played well in 2000 semi but couldn't get to grips in the final

Mayo v dubs in the semi final of the football the same never got to the same level in the final

Mighty game, Cork very unlucky couple of vital decisions didn’t go their way, to beat Limerick twice and still not get over the line is unbelievable

They played well some very strange decisions made in that game all for letting a game flow but that doesn't mean let actually frees go

I'm not sure about the trip i thought he fell amd just happen to catch cork player correct me if I'm wrong

I don't know how a jersey pull in the 72min is a free but in the 92 it's not

Regardless I had a feeling this was coming Micheal Verney summed it up on X the teams that knocked out the all ireland holders history does not favour them

I thought v limerick cork worked so hard up and down the field and never got any further than 2 or 3 pts ahead and the same today they worked tirelessly for scores look at the length of time it might have taken where there was a exchange of points

Cork worked it had to battle a bit harder then it was pucked out pucked into the clare foward line and straight over the bar as quick as anything

On a side note Micheal duigan on commentary when marty noted a bout a recorded for the highest score

He replied it's no good not unless you come out with the all ireland
