Now here's a shot in the dark .......
As many of you may know, this shark has been happily courting a yungwan of the Rossie persuasion for the last few years, a lass that has returned from globe hopping only recently. What with the two of us likely to be in Ireland for the weekend in question, I was hoping to be able to procure a couple of tickets for the football final what with the minor sheepstealers being involved.
I understand ye'll all have ye're own connections, but you know the way it is yourself, you have to try all sources! Normally I'd have a few leads at home, but what with me now being a first year member of a London club that is chock full of Mayo and Rossie exiles notr to mention about four or five Kerry lads as well, I've a suspicion I'll be a long way down the queue over here.
So just if anyone comes by anything, it would be appreciated is all. Not expecting, but ya never know ....
Cheers!

Join the club for the ticket hunt!!
Was looking up eBay there, people are bidding between €400 and €800 for a ticket and some people are selling tickets at €2000 for premium level tickets!! madness!
I was told that every club gets something like 3 tickets for either all-ireland, and only fully paid up members can go into a lottery for it.
If anyone is offering more than 2 tickets (LS gets preferance) can I join the Q for it!?

I'd like to think that somebody in HQ would be monitoring stuff like that. Premium level tickets in particular are easily traced to source - there's no way they should be getting away with that kind of carry on.
I've no idea what the average club gets - I think there's something like 3500 GAA clubs in total, so I'd say it's around six to eight per club. Either way they wouldn't go too far, by the time volunteers etc. are taken care of.
Still, here's hoping ...
