The hill open for €30 a ticket, if anyone would prefer to muck in with the natives

A real game to look forward to next weekend.
This will be a sign of where we are at and where we might get to.

I'd hope that the frenzied masses hammering the keyboards last Monday will have an appetite for this.
It is crucial that we get up to the next level soon, as time marches on for Senior players and as seen with the footballers underage success whilst great is no guarantee.
I like how we bounced back after the Laois game , but like the younger lads, we need to find one more pass at times to shoot or pass long from the best position.
Win up in Down and the way we built the lead was impressive and we need to be able to shut the door at the other end.

Win or lose this weekend, the occasion will have a big impact on how this could pan out next weekend. We will need the support of the U20 players but if they win , they will need looking after.

But again, all the very best to the team and management and hopefully "The Faithful" will arrive to support both teams over the next 2 weekends and not have "departed" back to Woodies and the BBQs etc!

The way they put kerry to bed was impressive, the loss against laois in the group stage should never have happened

Truth be told we were destroying them and they weren't able to match offalys ability

They got 2 stupid goals out of nothing,

The under20s will be needed , Screeney gave laois alot of trouble,

Not all our fowards played particularly well the first day out since then they've really put the shoulder to the wheel

We should be bringing a big crowd these guys deserve just as much support

The GAA suits would get some shock if they logged back on Tuesday morning and the Offaly crowd had Croker packed for Saturday😅😅

I think the county board really need to push promotion of the Joe McDonagh final this week.
Capitalise on the joyous scenes of Saturday and convince as many bandwagoners as possible to go.

Video messages from Screeney, Bourke, et al will be a start.

Urge clubs to put on buses for supporters and make sure the Laois crowd do not outnumber us.

I understand it is a big expense for families having 2 big trips so close together, but if the u20 had to have a replay next Saturday, I bet plenty would be able to make the journey.
We have the next 9 months to face into where we won’t have any such days out following our county teams.

Would be a massive boost for the county going into the club championship to have Division 1B hurling to look forward to in the spring, an u20 All Ireland to defend and a Leinster Championship campaign to relish.

Well said faithfulfanatic!

We were cruising v Laois until we missed a goal chance to kill the game at one end before Laois worked the ball up for a sucker punch goal at the other end. Small margins.

I believe we’ve improved since then, there’s serious momentum building within the side. Just as the U20’s had a motivation to put things right so too do our seniors after last years final.

Let’s keep feeding off that feel good factor from the U20’s and do everything we can to get as many Offaly people as possible into Croke Park for what’s the most significant game of the season.

Imagine the feeling of being back in the Liam Mc Carthy, preparing for a Division 1B campaign with genuine ambitions of promotion, and the first of many Leinster Senior hurling championships.

Let’s keep the bandwagon rolling along!

Agreed lads , absolutely huge game for Offaly hurling with a look to next year with the u20s defending the crown and division 1b actually been a place where we could take a few scalps. Been looking forward to it since it was known.

Any idea why I can't get juvenile, adult and OAP tickets together for the hogan?

No idea but you can choose on the Cusack by looks of it.
I was having a similar issue last week, it wouldnt let me buy two tickets by themselves on one side ( the two seats either side of the entrance to the section ) but I could on the opposite section .

They're licensed thieves, no competition to them unfortunately.
If you haven't bought already maybe wait to see do they open up more central sections tomorrow.
Those available now have been the same since middle of last week.

Perfect I had no idea I don't mind the cusack it's just either end that's open is frustrating

As far as I can remember it’s always only being the cusack for the juvenile tickets. Assume that’s a GAA strategy as opposed to ticketmaster.

Decent sections now opened in the cusack for anyone needing juvenile tickets for Saturday 👍
