(1) I hadn't heard about him being suspended, it's certainly hard to imagine for a player like him.
(2) If he was, somebody in the national media would have picked up on it before now
(3) Even then, the punishment would be against Laois - nobody would be reinstated, us, Meath or Tyrone. Chances are Mayo would progress straight to the semi.
(4) This is Hogan Stand after all. No doubt somebody is in there on the Leitrim discussion board announcing how the Tommy Murphy winners will get straight into the All Ireland final. That's just the kind of site it is.

There always was some serious editting going on over there. I'd say he's fairly aware that if people even get wind of the fact that there's an alternative it'll be deserted in droves.
It's nice to have it, to filter out some of the schoolkids with their garbage all the same. I don't think this forum suffers for not having people suggesting Hurling should be disbanded, or the Offaly football team should contain seven players from Kilclonfert.

1. Wasn't suspended, hasn't been sent off at any level to my knowledge
2. Lone Shark, it wouldn't be at all unimaginable for him, a right tough little fella who can look after himself OK

What's funnier is that hs.com filter out a lot of names mentioned the posts over there, but leave the rest of the comment. So when some looper chips in the standard "Johnny Fishfingers from Cappincur should be starting in midfield instead of McManus", the surname gets chopped, so the comment becomes even more meaningless than it already was.

Re: Donie
Fair enough. Not having seen him other than in senior county games, I would go along with any opinion that's based on a lot more evidence. Any kid that's playing senior club football since 16 years of age usually has to learn these things though.Heshs Umpire wrote:2. However he does have the cut of that small little young lad who needs minding - he should milk that for all it's worth.
